member of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA). All faculty
members are state certified teachers who are committed to excellence in
Catholic education. Our academic program, within a Christian setting, allows students to mature in all areas; academically, spiritually, physically, and emotionally with guidance and care that our professional staff provides from the first day of school to graduation. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors may be eligible for membership in the Bishop John Snyder chapter of the National Honor Society. [Click here for more information.] We provide a challenging college preparatory curriculum that encourages students to achieve their maximum potential. A learning strategies program is available to provide assistance to students who demonstrate an ability to perform academic tasks but are unable to express their potential due to diagnosed and documented learning difficulties. Every classroom is state-of-the-art and equipped with a 27" color television for video and DVD programming and computer linked lessons and activities. In keeping with diocesan guidelines for graduation, all students are required to complete 20 hours of community service each year of attendance at Bishop John J. Snyder High School.
