Bishop John J. Snyder High School accepts applicants from Catholic, public and other private schools. Admission is granted regardless of race, sex, creed, or national origin. Students seeking admission their senior year from a public, private or Catholic high school within the Diocese of St. Augustine will not be accepted. Only students from outside the Diocese of St. Augustine who attend a Catholic high school will be considered for acceptance their senior year. Admission to Bishop John J. Snyder High School is contingent upon a student graduating from the previous grade with no expulsions or serious disciplinary problems. The admissions process for all students begins with our Open House in November.
All incoming freshmen MUST take the EXPLORE™ placement test. EXPLORE™ scores will help to determine into which science, math, and English courses your student will be placed for the fall. If you miss the January placement test, there will be a make-up test given at a future date (TBA). Please call us to reserve your space.
All new students wishing to seek admission to Bishop John J. Snyder High School for the upcoming school year should call the Office of Admissions at (904) 771-1029 or visit
