The mission of the Development Office is to engage people in the life of Bishop John J. Snyder High School. Alumni events include our annual Homecoming Game reunion. We are eager to stay connected to former students.
The Spring Fling Auction and the Cardinal Classic Golf Tournament are two annual events hosted to create community and raise money for special projects. Much of the school’s athletic infrastructure has been built through these events. Technology upgrades and fine arts programming have also benefited from our events. Sponsorship and donations to each of these events are needed and welcomed and can be discussed with a member of the Development Office.
We began our Annual Appeal in 2007 which partially funds tuition assistance for families who value Catholic education but need a little help to send their sons and daughters to BJS. Donors to the Annual Appeal can choose to earmark their gift to tuition assistance, athletic infrastructure, the fine arts or technology.
The Joos Family, Nu-Trend Plastics, and the Vallencourt Family have established endowments which benefit our academic programs and students whose hard work is valued. Many other foundations continue to help us achieve our goals. If you would like to learn more about creating an endowed scholarship, we’d love to talk with you.
Recently the Jan and Lou Walsh Family Foundation established a scholarship to assist families with a parent who teaches at a Catholic school in our diocese.
