Lisa Moser graduated in 1984, sum cum laude with a Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Music Therapy, from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. (This degree includes minor credits in psychology, child development, and learning theories). Her work history includes Lead Music Therapist at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington D.C. and Department Head for Music Therapy for the D.C. Commission on Mental Health. While serving she received numerous awards for patient care. Moving to Florida in 1989 following her husband's naval career, she contracted music therapy services to Carter Hospital of Jacksonville and the Clay County School System. In 1993, she shipped out with three children in tow to London, England. While there she wrote a Developmental Music Program for PinnerWood School to assist in the implementation of The UK's National Educational Standards. In December of 2000, she completed her Masters of Education and received her professional teaching certificate in Varying Exceptionalities. She is a strong advocate for best learning practices and continues to keep abreast of the latest research in brain studies regarding learning.
