The Bishop John Snyder High School Yearbook, appropriately named "The
Cardinal" has been around since the school first opened its doors. It has
grown from a black and white 128 page book to what it is today, a full
color, 280 page, entirely digital, professional publication. The yearbook
is produced by the students with a faculty member as a teacher/ advisor.
The yearbook staff is between 10 and 15 students in any given year, and
the editors are the seniors who have completed two or more years of the
class. The curriculum areas covered in the yearbook class are photography,
graphic design, journalism, and business. The yearbook advertising and
sales are all conducted by the students in the class. Watch for this
award winning publication to be distributed in the spring!

The Cardinal Chronicles, the school paper for Bishop John J. Snyder High School, will be an after school project for the remainder of the 2008-2009 school year. However, in 2009-2010 school year the journalism class will take over production of the newspaper under the instruction of Ms. Kathryn Abbruzzese.
The paper will be self-sufficient and free to students and staff. To keep the paper free students will also learn marketing and sales, reaching businesses in Jacksonville to sell ads to potential clients.
