Seniors

Leonard’s Studios will be on campus to take group and individual cap & gown pictures. Every senior currently has a cap and gown stored at the school. These will be distributed to the seniors for pictures and again during Senior Checkout. 

See cap and gown individual portrait order form and the group order form. *ONLY Seniors who pre-order before March 24th will have an individual portrait taken.

The following attire is to be worn for the pictures:

Boys:  dress shirt with a tie and uniform pants (Boys may wear the shirt and tie to school and remain in this attire for the rest of the day or change into their uniform shirts after pictures are taken.)

 Girls:  a tank top or collarless shirt worn under the uniform shirt with the uniform skirt or pants.

Seniors taking AP Exams must be in school uniform and on campus by 7:45 a.m. Testing begins promptly at 8:00 a.m., except for the AP Government & Politics and the AP Macroeconomics Exam which begin at 12:00 p.m.

Seniors must have their lockers cleaned out by 3:00 p.m. on May 15th. All belongings must be removed, all trash thrown out, and the lock brought to Mr. Kellum’s office before leaving campus. Seniors must return their locks or pay $5 for a missing lock in order to receive their items at Senior Checkout.

Attention Seniors! If you are exempt from Finals, you will be able to return your Chromebook after Senior Mass on Friday, May 15th in the Media Center. Otherwise, Seniors may return their Chromebooks directly to Mr. McWhorter in the Media Center after their last exam. Senior exams run from May 18–21, 2025. When you return your Chromebook you MUST include the Chromebook, the charger and the case. Failure to return your Chromebook and the accessories will result in your cap and gown and graduation tickets withheld until it is returned.

Seniors exams will be given on May 18th – 21st. Seniors will hear directly from their teacher if they will be exempt from the individual class exam. Testing begins promptly at 8:00. ALL Seniors must be seated in the cafetorium by 7:55 AM and in proper school uniform to take their exams.

Seniors will receive their graduation packets which include their student files, caps and gowns, and graduation tickets between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26th. Graduation items will be distributed via a drive-through car line in the circle by the Main Office. Seniors must remain in their cars and will be given their items. 

Before checking out, seniors must have met all school financial obligations, submitted Christian service hours to Campus Ministry, and returned school property, including athletic uniforms, locks, library books, Chromebooks, band items, Foundations’ materials, and any other school items. Items not picked up during Senior Checkout will be available in the Main Office for pickup. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

On Tuesday, May 26, we will celebrate our Baccalaureate Mass at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church (1773 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210) at 7:00 p.m. Seniors must arrive at St. Matthew’s Parish Hall no later than 6:15 p.m. Graduation gowns are required to be worn during the Mass; caps are not permitted.

Dress for the evening is Sunday best. Gentlemen should wear a button-down dress shirt, slacks, and a tie (coat optional). Ladies may wear dresses, skirts, or dress pants with an appropriate blouse; hemlines should not be visible beneath graduation gowns. Jeans, skin-tight apparel, flip-flops, and sneakers are not permitted, and appropriate dress shoes must be worn. All students are required to attend the Baccalaureate Mass in accordance with the school handbook. Appearance standards will be enforced: hair must be natural in color, and gentlemen should be clean-shaven with appropriate haircuts. This event is free and open to all graduates and their guests.

 Invitations for the Senior Awards Ceremony will be sent out in Mid-April.

General Info:

On Wednesday, May 27th, we will host our Senior Awards Ceremony. Awards for academics, athletics, and campus ministry will be distributed during this ceremony. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Snyder Auditorium. Dress for this evening is a dress shirt, a pair of slacks, and a tie (coat optional) for boys and dresses or skirts and blouses, or dress slacks for girls. No low necklines, exposed midriffs, or short hemlines. Remember you will be walking across a raised stage! All students must attend in compliance with school appearance standards, including hair and facial hair.
